Unless you have had a Newborn Baby photography session with us it is likely that your first baby photography session with us will when your baby is approximately 2-4 months months old. These are what we like to think of as our 'proper' baby photo-shoots and we make them as simple as possible. 

Where?

All of our first Cherubs baby sessions are taken in the comfort of your own home. We need very little room as we set up either in the living room or in the nursery. 

When

We normally book our 1st sessions on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays although weekends are also available on request. 

Timings

A well fed and awake baby is normally a happy baby so we try and fit our sessions in with your baby's feeding at sleeping patterns. Each session lasts about an hour but we do allow time either side of each session in case they overrun. 

What to wear

The best thing about doing a photo-shoot at your home is that if we have any accidents then there's always a change of clothes not too far away! Keep outfits simple and easy to change in and out of.

At some point during the session we'll probably do some shots with baby just in a nappy but we'll try our best to hid the Pampers logos! 

Props

It's always fun to incorporate props in a photo-shoot so if you have anything you'd like us to use just ask! This can be anything from a teddy bear to vintage luggage. 

Tears and Hunger

There are sometimes tears and often hungry babies but there should be enough time within each session for feeds and cuddles to settle the little darlings down. 

Jabs and sickness

When booking these sessions just make sure they are not too close to injections as we’ll end up having a stroppy baby on our hands! If you're baby does feel a bit under the weather then just let us know and we'll re-arrange your session. 

When do I see the pictures?

If you choose we can have a little sneak preview of your session posted onto our Facebook page. We will return about a week after the session to show you the fully edited images.

Ordering Images

Images can be ordered at your viewing, we accept various forms of payment including card payments. We endeavour to have your images delivered to you within two weeks of ordering. Payments are made at time of ordering.
